Sheila Allen: Crime Victim's Reparation Commission

Sheila Allen has been the VAWA Grant Administrator for the State of New Mexico for fourteen years. She has over twenty-five years of experience providing direct services, clinical supervision and program management in a variety of social service settings. Ms. Allen has promoted the integration of community activism with grant administration to help guide programs and practices. She was a recipient of the 2003 Governor’s Award for Outstanding New Mexico Women. She is the President of the Board of Directors of the Association of VAWA Administrators. Ms. Allen earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Boston University and she is a licensed, independent social worker.
